Interface Update

The new interface, identified by Android Authority, will replace Gmail's current full-screen prompt with a pill-shaped floating icon at the bottom of the screen, enabling voice input and file attachment.

Visual Consistency

According to Android Authority, the floating dialog will align Gmail's visual style with the Gemini app, potentially improving readability of the inbox and message body.

The feature is still in development and has not yet been released to the public, so users cannot test it at this time.

When released, Gemini will be able to use data from users' email history, the web, and saved documents to provide personalized responses.
